That’s why these chili cumin roasted brussels sprouts are really a healthy version of the vegetable.
What Vegetables Go Well with Brussels Sprouts
Quite a few vegetables go well with brussels sprouts. So if you’re serving this recipe, you could actually throw together a medley of roasted vegetables on a platter. All roasted with the same spice mixture. Try things like potatoes, maybe the Yukon golds that are creamy and tender. Carrots are tasty with them, plus they give a vibrant color. And, if you like parsnips, well, these would be perfect roasted with the sprouts.
Roasting Brussels Sprouts
Roasting brussels sprouts is about the easiest of all cooking. I mean what you do is just season the vegetables, after slicing in halves, and roast in a hot oven. You could also use this recipe in your air fryer and add some crispy to the sprouts. Within in a short amount of time in a hot oven, your veggies caramelize, the sugars come out, and the flavors burst like exploding stars!
These brussels sprouts also are packed with even more taste bud tingles with the chili mixture and the cumin! I’m especially fond of the burned charred leaves.. Of course I love burnt potato chips, too! Careful not to hide the whole cookie sheet for yourself. It’s nice to share!
Nutrition Brussels Sprouts

Put Brussels spouts on a parchment-paper lined cookie sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toss well. Sprinkle on the chili seasoning, cumin, salt, and lemon pepper and toss well with your hands. Remove and cover with foil to 'steam' another 5-10 minutes. Serve hot, warm or cold!
Roast in a preheated 400 oven about 15-20 minutes.
