carolina foodie nirvana

the art of grandmothering

ally's story Remember Marie Osmond’s hit song, ‘I’m a Little Bit Country, I’m a Little Bit Rock n’ Roll’? Well, tucked in Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, where you can stretch your arms and almost touch heaven, are small towns and cities that are a little bit country and a big bit chic hippie. Yes, they are beaming and booming with foodie havens. Culinary artists, professional and self-taught, and artisans who manipulate the palate are making their mark on our tastebuds. Yes, this is Carolina foodie nirvana!

I’m super elated to be invited to be part of this scene. And, food lovers like Carolina Epicurean and BlueRidge Now are making me feel mighty special and welcomed! Yes, I’ll be cooking and signing my cookbook, Ally’s Kitchen~A Passport for Adventurous Palates, at The Sage Gourmet and Wine Bar in Hendersonville. For those who can come, expect flavors from around the world to land right smack dab in the middle of those majestic blue tone mountains. Yes, I’ll be preparing dishes from Africa, the Middle East as will my hosts and co-owners, Laurie Bakke’s Kitchen and Chrissy of Sage Gourmet and Wine Bar.

All you need to bring is an empty belly and an adventurous palate as you’ll be swept away on a magic carpet of goodliness experiencing flavors of the world!

Here’s all you need to know about the 11 NOVEMBER 2015 events~just click away~

Hope to see you there, my friends! ~peace & namaste~ ally xoxo
