There’s a reason this is the big boss turkey club sandwich! Three meats, turkey, bacon, sausage, then outrageous sriracha maple syrup! YES!

Best Homemade Turkey Sandwich

Of course, the best homemade turkey sandwich is the one that you make. But, sometimes trying new ideas, new ingredients and new ways to preparing your turkey sandwich open new experiences for your palate.

Sriracha Turkey Sandwich

Sriracha is one of my favorite spice additions for this turkey sandwich. Give the sandwich a kick with each bite.

You can adapt the amount of sriracha to your taste buds.

Turkey and Apple Sandwich

Now, I love apples on sandwiches. I mean there’s nothing better than spreading chunky peanut butter on bread and thinly slicing crispy crunchy juice apple slices.

And, turkey and apples just go together. Now, you can wait for Thanksgiving for that leftover turkey. Of, if you’re like me, I’m gonna use some really nice deli turkey sliced to my thickness liking.

Sandwiches with Apples

Apples on sandwiches is a great way to get some crunch with your sandwich. Sometimes I even crush up kettle potato chips and put on a sandwich. Serve apples on sandwiches with various kinds of cuts and slices, thin, diced, thing wedge slices, grilled apple slices.

Bacon Turkey Sandwich

Adding bacon to most anything, of course, makes it yummier. And, turkey and chicken seem to be natural companions of bacon on sandwiches.

Club Sandwich Turkey

Club sandwiches. Yes, they’re a classic.

According to the most popular theory, the club sandwich was invented around 1894 at the Saratoga Club House, an exclusive gambling joint in Saratoga Springs, New York. … Luckily for everyone, the star sammie left the gambling tables and was soon a hit around the country

French Sandwich Croque Madame

Add an egg to this sandwich and you’ve almost got a French Croque Madame! Instead of grilling the bread with butter, dip it in egg and then grill.

A croque madame is simply a croque monsieur with a poached or fried egg on top. The difference between the two sandwiches has to do with how the egg is incorporated into the rest of the ingredients: In a croque monsieur, the bread is dipped into the beaten egg before it’s cooked (French toast-style).

French Sandwich Croque Monsieur

What’s a Croque Monsieur?

Croque monsieur literally means “mister crunch,” and it’s also a classic French bar snack, a sandwich consisting of gruyère cheese, ham, and buttered bread. The bread is either toasted until the cheese melts or fried in butter, like a grilled cheese. Wanna make one?

Turkey Club Sandwich

I’m telling you, there’s nothing more delicious than this turkey club sandwich. And, it is the ‘big boss’! So,  you might want to slice in half and share.

Be sure to eat it hot or at least warm right off the grill when you have that yummy buttery grilled bread!

Turkey Sandwich Ideas

What Is the Difference Between Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame? A croque madame is simply a croque monsieur topped with a sunnyside-up or poached egg. The egg turns the croque into a more substantial meal and the runny yolk provides a rich sauce for the sandwich.

Yield: One Big Sandwich

There's a reason this is the big boss turkey club sandwich! Three meats, turkey, bacon, sausage, then outrageous sriracha maple syrup! YES!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbl. Maple syrup
  • ¼ tsp sriracha
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 Tbl. Cream
  • 2 slices thick cut artisan bread
  • ½ Tbl. Butter
  • 1/3 cup arugula, loosely packed
  • 4 slices All Natural Sliced Turkey
  • 2 sausage links, cooked & sliced lengthwise in halves to lay flat on the sandwich
  • 3 apple slices, very thinly sliced from the center of the apple, leave skin on
  • 1 ½ slices thick cut hickory smoked bacon, fried, drained & cut into 3 half pieces

Instructions

Combine the maple syrup and sriracha in a small bowl and blend together. Set aside.

Combine in a shallow pie plate the egg and cream, blend together. Add the bread and soak each side. You’re making something like French toast.

Heat a medium sized cast iron skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Put the bread slices and grill on each side about 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a dinner plate.

On the bottom slice of the sandwich bread, put the arugula. Fold over the turkey slices and put on top overlapping each somewhat. Drizzle one-third of the maple syrup mixture.

Add the four sausage halves then the apple slices. Drizzle another third of the maple syrup mixture.

Add the bacon slices and the top of the sandwich. Serve the remaining maple syrup mixture as a dip for the sandwich or to drizzle on top.
