Easy Apple Crisp
Easy is the operative word in this easy apple crisp recipe! Yes, scrumptious. And, insanely easy. Eat while hot. It’s an ethereal experience!
Apple Crumble Pie
Doesn’t matter if you call it apple crumble or apple crisp. It’s about all the same in my book!
And, whether it’s technically a ‘pie’, well, who the heck cares! It’s just flat out delicious!
Easy Apple Crisp
This easy apple crisp is just that. EASY!
There’s no denying that I love apple pies and cakes. Just take a gander at some of my scrumptious recipes!
Best Apple Crisp Recipe
Fall is the perfect time to make some of my apple cake recipes, too.
Apple cakes stay beautifully moist for several days and like a good pot roast get better on days 2 and 3.
Apple Crumble Recipe Oats
With any recipe using oats, try to buy the best you can budget.
Farmers we Know Sprouted Rolled Oats is one of my favorites. Check it out!
Apple Crisp with Oats
The ultimate best time to eat this apple crisp is when it comes our piping hot from the oven. Let it cool just a bit then dig in. And, for those of us who love a topping, consider creme fraiche, mascarpone, ricotta, ice cream or a drizzle of heavy cream.
The crisp crumble topping is gluten free, and there’s really no way to mess it up.
Oatmeal Apple Crumble
The oatmeal gives the crumble crisp an earthy taste with more distinctive texture. I like that.
Another option you could consider in your topping would be finely chopped or sliced almonds or walnuts. If you can’t do nuts, then consider a seed. Again, some additional crunch and flavor.
Apple Crisp with Melted Butter
Of course, the butter makes the apple crisp just float over the top with flavor.
I love the grassfed butter from Costco. It has more nutrient density in it because the happy cows munch on the grass and are out in the fields happy as can be.
Enjoy this apple crisp. It’s perfect anytime of the year! xoxx ally
