It’s going to take consistent care. For some women, it might involved possibly professional treatments.

Improvement are possible, but it takes time. Key things that can be done involve things like exfoliation, hydration, collagen-boosting, and sun protection.

To a degree, yes—though not completely. You can improve the appearance and texture of crepey skin significantly through:

So why do women’s arms show the crepey skin???

Then there’s the genetics. Some people are more predisposed to crepey skin.

Consistency is key — even 15–20 mins, 2–3 times a week makes a difference.

Yes, crepey skin on the arms can be improved and partially reversed, though full reversal depends on the cause, severity, and consistency of your approach. Yes, always lots of caveats. And, there’s not a ‘stopping’ point that I’ve found where I can say that ‘my work is done.’

It’s a constant investment of time as I age to mitigate my crepey arms. But, that’s ok, because even small improvements make me feel better and look better. I’ll wear sleeveless things and be proud of my 75 year old arms. 

I know that I won’t get my baby-smooth skin again, but I can make my crepey skin firmer, thicker and more hydrated, so that it looks and feels much better. 

Just kind of think about it as reverse aging a few years. I’m not erasing time completely, but I’m creating a slower magnification of old father time.
