Thanks to Dole Sunshine for partnering with me for this post! All the opinions and creativity are solely my own. For a full disclosure, click here!

There’s no more favorite way to eat for me and Ben than a tray of nibbles. Call it charcuterie. Mezze. Tapas. Nibbles. Whatever. If you want some cool tips on eating this way, check this post of mine. It’s just a fun, relaxed and entertaining way to eat. Sometimes our ‘spreads’ are intricate with lots of savory and sweet tastes. Sometimes our spread is smaller like this where the focus is the hone lime pineapple dipping sauce.

This sauce is quite simple to make. Takes no cooking. And, is all done in the food processor. Unlike typical sauces for dipping that are savory and cheesy, this is lighter, creamy and fruity with a hint of heat as in jalapenos! I was a tad bit uncertain as to whether or not Ben would like it, yes, he’s my main taste tester. But, he LOVED it. And, couldn’t stop eating it!

I love pairing the honey lime pineapple dipping sauce with a variety of fruits, vegetables, meats and crackers. You get pops of salty and crunchy with the crackers (these are rice crackers and triscuits). The raw vegetables have the earthy clean taste and the combo with the sauce brings out even more flavors. Dipping apple slices into the sauce was almost like eating a desssert! Just fabulous. I can even use this sauce on desserts like poundcake. Yes, it’s that versatile!
